Citibank, Fleet, GMAC & Others Caught Overcharging!

Back in the early 1990s, something really big happened in the lending industry. A lot of lenders were put on the "hot-seat" by federal agencies. Turns out they’d been caught overcharging homeowners to the tune of an estimated 15 billion dollars! That’s a lot of money by any standard. A few lenders such as Fleet, GMAC, Citibank and others were ordered to pay back hundreds of millions of dollars to borrowers who had been overcharged. But because of the size of the problem, most lenders got off Scott free!

There are over 50 million mortgages in this country. Add to this number tens of millions more in Home Equity Loans, student loans, equipment loans, boat loans, and RV loans, and the number of loans outstanding is mind-boggling. In fact, the lending industry is so big, it’s almost impossible for federal or state regulators to keep tabs on all the loans. Plus, new loans are constantly being originated while old ones are paid off or refinanced. For state regulators, trying to keep tabs on this "moving parade" is a living nightmare...it's just too big to deal with. There are far too many loans.

The overcharging problem was not front-page news. But it has been reported in various newspaper articles for years. Problem is, few people pay attention. The articles are boring and hardly anyone reads them. As you might imagine, with such a complicated problem, there's really no way to fix it... you can't pass laws to regulate clerical errors!

Lawsuits filed... but this is just the tip of the iceberg

Over the years, class action lawsuits and the Attorneys General of various states have had some success against specific lenders but this is considered to be just the tip of the iceberg. For example...

  • "Florida's largest bank will provide refunds to 190,000 homeowners on their mortgage loans, due to overcharges." (Attorney General Bob Butterworth, July 1995).

  • "Citicorp agreed to pay back overcharges to 16,000 customers in a class-action suit."

  • "Four of the largest mortgage lenders settled court actions for over 330 million dollars in overcharges."

  • "Attorney General Abrams (NY) obtains $150 Million refund in an overcharging case from Fleet Mortgage, the nation's largest lender!"

These multimillion dollar awards are insignificant compared to the tens of billions of dollars in uncollected refunds... refunds averaging $1,500 each, and payable to more than 40% of all homeowners with an Adjustable Rate Mortgage according to federal agencies.

As you might imagine, there is no federal agency or system in place to help homeowners recover this money. And what's worse, most homeowners haven't a clue that they might be owed $1,500 (or more!) from their lender due to errors and miscalculations... or downright fraud in a few isolated cases. What's a homeowner to do?

As you move along through our web site, you'll discover the secret behind our new Mortgage Auditing Program (MAP for short). And no, you don't need to be a math whiz or even learn much about mortgages to make a huge income through this business. The way we've designed this "next-generation" business program, you just manage the business. Others do most of the work for you (if you prefer) and even the marketing is as easy as paint-by-numbers. You just loan out videos. We'll show you how to make everything work.

And no, you don't have to audit mortgages yourself either. Our new MAP business system is designed so that you can easily recruit others to audit the mortgages for you. College students, part time bookkeepers, work-at-home mothers... almost anyone with a computer who wants to earn extra money part time or full time.

They work as independent contractors right out of their own home and are paid "by the audit" through you. You just recruit as many auditors as you need to keep up with the volume produced by your Sales Associates who market the service to their clients using our video. An incredibly simple marketing strategy. But enormously effective!

You can always do everything yourself... if you wish. But once you learn the ropes and see the power behind this business, you'll want to pull out all the stops to earn the largest possible income. And with virtually zero competition, nothing can stop you.
