OK... you are marketing the program by yourself in your area. By enrolling 3 clients per week at the lowest price you'd ever charge for an audit ($149)... your weekly income would be $447. Your monthly income would be $1,788. This is part time. If you charge $250 instead of the $149, your monthly income would grow to $3,000 instead of $1,788.
Now let's go from 3 clients per week to 5 clients per week. Enroll 5 clients per week at $149 instead of 3 and your weekly income jumps to $745. Monthly, it jumps to $2,980. If you enroll 5 clients per week at $250 versus the $149, your monthly income increases to $5,000. This is working by yourself. Now, let's take a look at what happens if you recruit a sales team to enroll clients for you.
Your Income With A Sales Team
In order to encourage professionals in your area to refer their clients to you for enrollment, you'll probably have to pay them $75 to $100 for each audit they turn in. If your Sales Associates are marketing the auditing service to their clients at $250, you will receive $150 per audit in this example. Of course, you may adjust these figures to reflect a larger commission to the Sales Associate or a larger commission to you. Again, this is just an example. Also, some Sales Associates will charge their clients $295 or more and just pay you $150. That boosts their commission and that's OK. You still get your $150 per audit and they make about the same amount. Everyone's happy.
With a small group of 5 Sales Associates, each enrolling 3 homeowners per week, you would see a total of 15 enrollments each week. Now, multiply the 15 enrollments by your share of $150 per audit and your income is $2,250 per week or about $9,000 per month. Again, to earn more money, simply add more Sales Associates. You could double your income in this example simply by enrolling 10 Sales Associates instead of just 5. How large your organization becomes is entirely up to you. There really are no limits to your income potential.
If you have too much business to handle, as will eventually be the case for some of you, you'll need to hire auditors to do the processing. If you let part-time people work from home as Independent Contractors, you'll probably end up paying them about $25 per audit. This will vary with the complexity of each audit and the average wage for the area in which you live. But plan on about $25 per audit if you're intending to let others handle your paperwork. This reduces your profit to $125 per audit. But you'll have essentially no work to do. Others are doing it all. You just handle a little paperwork between your clients and your auditors. It's simple and only requires a few minutes.
By the way, if you live in a small city, you can always go outside of your area and add Sales Associates in other towns. Just because you live in one area doesn't mean you cannot expand. For example, if you live in a big city now and want to move to a rural area, there is no reason why you can't establish your sales network now, and then move to a new area. You can easily do business via Federal Express or even the US Mail. On occasion, you can stop by to make an appearance when you come back for a
visit, providing complete flexibility to handle your MAP business as you wish.
